    • Operating for over 34 years, we're a well established, busy, diverse workshop situated in the sunny Mt Maunganui, Bay of Plenty.

    Due to increased workloads we are seeking a skilled, self-motivated, energetic Specialist Fabricator to join our team.

    We are looking for a motivated and driven Fabricator with a great work ethic who is happy to engage with management to ensure good practices are always maintained. A great positive attitude required and really enjoys a challenge.

    To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate:
    • High proficiency in fabrication of MIG + TIG welding
    • Competent working with a variety of metals including steel, aluminium, stainless steel.
    • Guillotine and press brake experience a must - NC systems preferably.
    • Industry knowledge on flashing detailing and manufacture for commercial and residential requirements
    • A current NZ driver's license.
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Experience in one off custom fabrication
    • Carry out site measures effectively , accurately and efficiently
    • Happy working in a team environment
    • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
    • Initiative and ability to work in high pressure environments
    • Quoting experience alongside client engagement will be an advantage in this role.
    This is a full time permanent position, usual hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm however can include some weekend work. An immediate start is available.

    Remuneration will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role and penal rates apply.
