    • HR Engineering is a medium-sized, well-established family owned company carrying out a wide variety of work from small fabrication jobs to heavy transport and everything in between. The business has been built on providing great service with a can-do attitude. We have three separate dedicated workshops; a machine shop, steel fabrication workshop, and stainless steel/aluminium workshop all situated on the one site in central Blenheim.

    The Marlborough region offers all your outdoor and indoor activities from all sports, hunting, fishing, yachting, tramping, and skiing, just to name a few - to wineries, restaurants, shopping, bars, indoor stadiums and pools - endless activities for young and old.

    We are now on the lookout for a reliable and hard working Yardsperson to join our hands-on, enthusiastic team.

    You will be responsible for:
    • Pick ups and deliveries around town
    • Loading and unloading trucks
    • Putting away steel in racks and checking to dockets
    • Cleaning
    • Machine and vehicle checking and maintenance

    We are looking for someone who:
    • Holds a current full drivers licence and must be able to drive manual vehicles
    • Has attention to detail (accurately checking documentation)
    • Is mechanically minded
    • Has a good level of physical fitness and energy
    • Takes pride in their work and has high standards of workmanship
    Bonus points if you have:
    • A Forklift and HT licence
    • A background or previous experience in Engineering
    This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday.
