Are you a people person with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a Service Advisor to be the critical link between our valued customers and our workshop team.
About the Role:
As a Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that each customer receives the highest standard of care when servicing, repairing, or upgrading their vehicle. You'll manage bookings, communicate effectively between departments, and build trust with customers by keeping them informed and ensuring their needs are met - all while maximising every visit's value to both the customer and the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service journey
- Manage bookings, prepare job cards, and check warranty status
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and engage in conversational upselling
- Coordinate with the workshop to ensure timely and accurate job completion
- Keep customers informed of job progress and explain repairs or recommendations clearly
- Review and finalise job cards, invoice work accurately, and ensure detailed documentation
- Manage customer handovers, discuss additional work, and deliver exceptional service
- Proactively follow up on missed bookings and recalls
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider service team
- Uphold all health and safety practices and live the values of the dealership daily
What You'll Bring:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you genuinely enjoy helping people
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the drive to go above and beyond
- Basic mechanical knowledge or previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous, but not essential
- Tech-savvy and confident with computer systems
- A personable and approachable attitude with the ability to build rapport quickly
