  • Play a vital role with Odyssey House Christchurch

    • Odyssey House Christchurch provides treatment and services for those experiencing issues with alcohol and drugs, mental illness and related issues. Our Youth Residential supports youth aged 13-18 years of age living in treatment, attending school, and learning new skills for wellbeing.

    In this dynamic role, you will:
    • Work one on one with clients
    • Ensure treatment and family plans are executed and evolving
    • Develop and facilitate groups
    • Actively participate in the programme with the young people
    • Transport young people so you are required to have a full Drivers Licence.
    • Be part of the On Call roster covering evening and weekend queries.
    If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you:
    • Experience and passion for working with youth.
    • Qualifications and registration in an allied health field ie Social Work, OT, Counselling.
    • Good communication and organisational skills
    • Ability to laugh and have fun with the young people
    • Deal with difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
