We are currently seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join our team and take on a key role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of industrial machinery and equipment.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to high standards of safety and performance.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and responding quickly to equipment breakdowns. You'll work with a variety of mechanical equipment, including generators, tractors, pumps, small motors, pipework, and light engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, service, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs or part replacements.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other trades, including electricians, for efficient servicing
Skills & Qualifications:- Engineering Trade Qualification - completed apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and heavy parts.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
