We are seeking an engaging individual to join the welcoming faces of our retail and trade team based in the Westhaven marine precinct.
As specialists in marine fluid handling, we are the trusted choice for New Zealand boat builders, DIY enthusiasts, marine engineering contractors, and superyacht professionals. Whether assisting customers in person, over the phone, or online, your passion for customer service will help create a memorable and positive experience for all.
A good command of the English language is essential for this role.
This position is more than just retail or trade - it serves as a gateway into the marine industry. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the marine sector or a genuine passion for boats, marine systems, and watercraft. While previous knowledge of pumps, hoses, fittings, or marine equipment is advantageous, what truly matters is your eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for this specialized field.

- Enjoys problem solving and thrives on new challenges.
- Communicates clearly, listens well, and keeps accurate records.
- Adapts easily, shows initiative, and works equally well independently or as part of a team.
- Can stay focused and precise, even when things get busy.
- Knows a bit about fluid handling products or is ready and willing to learn (training provided).
- Confidently sources parts and recommends solutions to boost company sales.
What else will help you succeed?:- Strong written and spoken English, including the ability to interpret technical materials.
- Clear communication, both face-to-face and in writing.
- Comfort preparing management and sales performance reports.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Enough numeracy to confidently manage sales calculations.
