  • Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a warm, organised, and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our team across our Newmarket and Wairau clinics.

    This is a permanent part-time role (28 hours/week), Monday to Thursday, with rostered hours between 7:30am - 5:00pm, and up to 8:00pm on Wednesdays.

    What You'll Do

    As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    • Providing a personalised welcome to patients, families / whānau, staff, and visitors with empathy and professionalism
    • Ensuring accurate documentation and communication of patient movements, queries, clinic lists, and messages
    • Maintaining accurate patient charts process referrals, results, and correspondence
    • Maintaining clear, concise, professional communication within the team and with external health professionals
    • Handling payments and liaising with the accounts team
    • Supporting our doctors and clinical staff with timely admin assistance
    • General office duties including scanning, filing, and supply management
    • Promoting and uphold the Harbour Cancer and Wellness Culture and tone with every interaction
