  • About the Role:
    We are seeking a motivated Automotive Parts Interpreter or an enthusiastic Parts Cadet to join our team. You'll play a vital role in supporting our service department, trade clients, and retail customers by ensuring the correct parts are supplied quickly and accurately. This position suits someone with strong automotive knowledge or a cadet looking to start a long-term career in the industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    For Experienced Parts Interpreter:
    • Identify and supply the correct automotive parts based on vehicle make, model, and job requirements.
    • Communicate with workshop technicians, customers, and suppliers to fulfil parts needs efficiently.
    • Maintain and manage parts inventory and reordering processes.
    • Use dealership management systems (DMS) and electronic parts catalogues.
    • Process counter sales, phone inquiries, and internal workshop requests.
    • Stay up to date with product changes, recalls, and promotions.
    • Assist Panel and Paint shop with Partstrader, quotes and insurance work.
    For Parts Cadet (Trainee):
    • Assist experienced interpreters with daily parts operations and stock control.
    • Learn to read and interpret parts catalogues and vehicle data.
    • Receive and dispatch parts orders and restock shelves.
    • Undertake formal training and on-the-job learning
    • Provide support in the workshop and customer service areas.
    • Assist Panel and Paint shop with Partstrader, quotes and insurance work.
    What We're Looking For:

    Interpreter (Experienced):
    • Previous experience in automotive parts interpreting (dealership or aftermarket).
    • Knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and parts catalogues.
    • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be computer literate
    • Must have a clean full or restricted drivers license
    Cadet (Entry-Level):
    • Passion for the automotive industry and eagerness to learn.
    • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to complete formal training and qualifications.
    • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
    • Must be computer literate
    • Must have a clean full or Restricted drivers license
