    The Role

    As Parts Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operation of the parts department. This involves maintaining a smooth supply of parts to the service department, sales department and external customers. You will collaborate closely with both the Parts and Service Teams and will report directly to the Group Parts Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • First point of contact for our parts department answering queries by phone, email and in person.
    • Working with the Parts Manager in achieving distributor parts targets and monthly sales objectives.
    • Building relationships with local workshop trade customers to maximise mechanical trade parts sales.
    • Offering accurate parts knowledge and advise to customer both internal and external. 
    • Process customer invoices and receipts.
    • Entering and invoicing of stock.
    • Help unpack and dispatch of some parts orders when required.
    • Parts planning ensuring all standard parts are ordered three days in advance in preparation for service jobs.
    • Achieve accurate stock counts and locations by following correct procedures.
    • Achieve an accurate supply of parts both internally and externally.
    • Assist with customer/telephone enquiries.
    • Keeping up to date with all literature, bulletins, policies and procedures
    • To ensure that your role in the fundamental "Core Process" is carried out in a professional, efficient and timely manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
    • Assist with stock taking.
    • Carry out other miscellaneous jobs as directed from the Group Parts Manager.
    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer and colleagues information.
    About You:
    • Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of the value of trust and rapport when building long lasting and robust relationships.
    • Highly organised and process orientated.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
    • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve customer issues.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A current Drivers licence (Restricted or higher)
    This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with rostered Saturdays.
