CCW - Car Compliance Workshop is New Zealand's choice for imported vehicles. The team at CCW are made up of car enthusiasts alike, who love what we do. We offer a service which is hassle free to get the job done, on budget and on time.
We are currently looking for an experienced Compliance Mechanic / Technician to join our team repairing and maintaining vehicles so they are compliant for New Zealand's roads.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Dismantling, repairing, re-assembling and preparing all vehicles for underbody Compliance Inspections
- Completing routine vehicle maintenance (servicing, changing tyres, wheel balancing)
- Ordering parts and completing relevant paperwork
- Keeping all work areas and equipment maintained and in a clean and tidy condition
- Complying with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
While Level 3 or Level 4 trade qualifications will be highly regarded, we believe that hands-on experience is more important. If you've been working in a mechanical workshop based role and think you have what it takes to excel in this role, we want to talk!
Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:- A minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar position
- A Full NZ Drivers Licence
- High levels of physical fitness (this can be a physically demanding role)
- Capable of working in a fast paced, high volume workshop
- Good communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Able to work well in a team environment and independently
Any experience working with European vehicles, or experience in the automotive compliance industry will be highly regarded. A current WOF certificate would be an advantage, but is not essential.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, however we are also open to discussing the option of part time hours too.
A remuneration package will be negotiated aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
