At Ebbett Marketing, we support 25 leading vehicle brands across 16 dealerships throughout the North Island. We're a fast-paced, high-performing team driven by data, results, and a passion for delivering impactful marketing.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Marketing Data Administrator / Analyst to help drive our marketing campaigns, improve customer data quality, and support lead and communication processes across our dealership network. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow into a data-focused marketing role - training will be provided, and you'll be working closely with our current Data Analyst, who is stepping into a new position within the company.
Whether you're early in your career or a confident Data Analyst, we're after someone who is ambitious and analytical. You'll gain hands-on experience with CRM/ERP systems, marketing automation tools, and customer journey data.
You'll collaborate with the Group Data Analyst, Marketing team, Contact Centre, Dealerships, and IT teams (including LMS and DMS systems), giving you broad exposure to the business and plenty of room to grow. Key Responsibilities: Provide data-led support for the Marketing department, including:- Selecting customer segments for targeted direct marketing campaigns
- Performing data extractions to support the Contact Centre
- Monitoring and supporting the Lead Management process across Dealerships
- Providing training on data quality best practices related to customer information
- Monitoring, managing, and improving customer data quality in collaboration with Dealerships
- Monitoring and advising on vehicle listing data quality across dealership platforms
- Producing lead analysis reports to support marketing performance tracking
- Managing customer subscription preferences for marketing communications
- Administering changes to the online service booking application
- Managing automated customer communications from our LMS (Lead Management System) and DMS (Dealer Management System), including service and WoF reminders
- Supporting the administration of data transfers from customer interaction channels such as TradeMe, DriveChat (website chat), AutoTrader, and the Ebbett website
Job requirements:- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic data extraction and query skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and task follow-through
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a data-led or marketing support role (preferred but not essential for junior candidates)
Desirable experience:- Exposure to CRM and/or ERP systems
- Report building and dashboard creation experience
- Experience providing training or support to sales or customer-facing staff
- Familiarity with data extraction or manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Power Query, etc.)
