Tactical Solutions is on the hunt for a passionate, capable, and creative Junior / Intermediate Front-end Web Developer to be based in our North Shore, Auckland office and bring our online presence to life - one intuitive, elegant interface at a time.

What You'll Do:
As a key member of our in-house development team, you'll play a pivotal role in consolidating multiple websites into one seamless BigCommerce platform, ensuring our digital customer experience is second to none.
Your day-to-day will include:- Building responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS
- Migrating content from WordPress to BigCommerce
- Applying best-practice UI/UX principles to create user-first web experiences
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and tech teams to bring business needs to life
- Maintaining and optimising our product catalogue and BundleB2B setup on BigCommerce
- Managing product sync between NetSuite and BigCommerce using Celigo integrator.io
- Designing email templates and automation workflows in Mailchimp (transitioning to Dotdigital)
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Sketch
- Using AI tools like ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot to streamline and elevate your development workflow
- Contributing to code reviews and helping us continuously improve how we work
About You:
You're a detail-oriented developer with a sharp eye for design and usability. You love clean, scalable code and know how to balance innovation with business needs.
We're looking for someone who:- Has 1-3 years' experience in frontend development or strong portfolio work
- Is confident using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Has experience with CMS and e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce a big plus!)
- Is familiar with tools like Vite, Webpack, or Grunt
- Understands modern UI/UX principles and responsive design
- Communicates clearly - whether in person, on paper, or in code
- Works well in a team, but is also self-driven and accountable
- Has great problem-solving skills and takes real pride in the quality of their work
- Has a good sense of humour, positive energy, and a genuine "team first" mindset
Bonus points for experience with Oracle NetSuite, Celigo integrator.io, or BundleB2B.
