We're currently looking for driven and self motivated Orchard Construction Technicians to join our team based in Western Bay of Plenty.
This is a hands-on role, essential to the construction, maintenance, and repair of orchard infrastructure that supports the development of thriving kiwifruit orchards. If you enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and value variety in your day - this might be the opportunity you've been looking for!
You'll be responsible for erecting structures and installing overhead hail protection systems using a variety of tools, equipment and machinery. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and in a team, with a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities will include:
Performing orchard construction and maintenance tasks
Operating elevated platforms, tractor and trailers
Working safely at heights
Attend and participate in skill improvement trainings
Support other aspects of our operation across the business as required
To be considered you will need relevant experience in orchard construction or related hands-on work.
About you:
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
Proficient in operating machinery safely and effectively
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Positive can-do attitude
Proactive and reliable
Hold a full or restricted drivers licence
Able to pass a pre-employment and random drug testing
Committed to adhering to and actively participating in the Growtech Health and Safety Policies and site rules
We have various work sites across the North Island which will require you to travel away when there is no local work, work-related travel will be compensated.
