We currently have an opportunity available for a Qualified Plumber to join our team.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:- Formal NZ Plumbing trade qualifications and trade certificate
- Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to providing high-quality workmanship
You will be responsible for:- Completing all Plumbing work required for the company (All Plumbing Licensing & registration must be kept up to date & current)
- Overseeing plumbing projects
- Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities
- Developing operational policies and procedures
- Establishing & organising materials required per project & ensure required materials are on site prior to being required
- Inspecting & reviewing new incoming job requests & providing detailed information to our estimator for costing
- Liaising with clients, attending site meetings & providing updates on current projects
- Working with clients & providing solutions & recommendations
- Quality control & inspections on projects to ensure all projects are up to a high construction quality & finish during the project and on completion
- Organising & liaising with Sub-contractors and attending meetings on and off site to obtain quotations
- Checking to ensure orders/deliveries arrive on site on the scheduled / programmed days & chasing orders that have not arrived as planned or are incorrect
- Liaising with suppliers & placing orders required on projects with the suppliers
- Maintaining the correct Scope of works per project & ensuring all works are completed as per the scope of works, plans and details
- Detecting, organising, scoping, submitting & programming any variation works required
At times you will be required to respond to call outs however you will be reimbursed with a call out fee and time and a half.
What's on offer:- Attractive remuneration package: $45 - $55 per hour aligned with experience + van, fuel card and phone

- NO weekend work - Monday to Friday hours
