  • At Silverdale Medical, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across both General Practice and Urgent Care services. We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our dedicated and dynamic team.

    In this pivotal role, you will be the cornerstone of our frontline operations, leading by example and supporting both patients and colleagues with grace, patience, and efficiency. You'll be instrumental in maintaining a high-performing, organised, and supportive environment that aligns with our policies and values.

    You are professional, warm, and calm under pressure. You have a natural ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and keep a level head in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You take pride in your exceptional communication and organisational skills, and you enjoy working collaboratively to uplift those around you.

    You'll not only provide leadership and oversight at the reception desk but will also take part in patient service delivery, because you lead from the front.

    What You'll Bring:
    • Proven experience in a busy Medical/Healthcare setting 
    • Ability to support the Manager to ensure high-quality care for all patients and maintain a positive workplace culture
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to service excellence
    Desirable Skills & Experience:
    • Experience in an Urgent Care or similar facility
    • Proficiency in medical management software
    • Complaint handling and de-escalation techniques
    • Coaching and supporting team members through complex situations
    • Proven success in excellent oversight and ownership of the waiting room experience
    • Experience with staff supervision and training
    • Banking, invoicing, and management of outstanding accounts
    • Working knowledge of Health & Safety best practices
    • Able to multitask and effectively respond to queries from various teams within the organisation
    Role Details:
    • Full-time (40 hours/week), primarily Monday to Friday
    • Must be flexible to cover weekends as needed (our clinic operates 7 days/week, 8am - 8pm)
    • Remuneration will reflect your skills and experience
