Build NZ is a multi-disciplinary construction company renowned for craftsmanship, transparency and on time delivery. Since 2009, we have grown from a small coastal crew into a fully certified team of registered builders, project managers, plumbers, electricians, tilers, plasterers, and apprentices - each committed to producing work that stands the test of time.
Due to demand, we have an opportunity available for a skilled and self motivated Tiler to join our team.
You'll be responsible for surface preparation, measurement, cutting and installation of tiles, grouting, waterproofing, underfloor heating and floor levelling.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Tiler, exceptional attention to detail, professional communication skills and work well in a team environment. If you're someone who takes pride in producing a high quality finish - we're keen to hear from you!
What we're looking for:- Proficient in cutting and laying tiles
- Good knowledge of spacing and alignment
- Skilled in mixing and applying adhesive, grout and sealants
- Excellent problem solving and layout planning skills
- Properly trained in waterproofing
- Experienced in Underfloor heating install (an advantage but not essential)
- Good understanding of building and safety regulations
- Ability to use software on a mobile device to update status of projects
