We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our workshop team at Duncan & Ebbett in Hamilton. Due to the team's expansion this is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive supportive team looking after premium modern luxury brands.
Our ideal candidate will possess a thirst to learn and excel, preferably franchise trained. A WOF certification (or willingness to become an Inspector) is preferred.
We will work with you to achieve your professional goals in the automotive industry. Hours are 8.00 - 4.30 with a rostered Saturday (approx. 1 a month). However, we have understanding around family commitments and offer some flexibility if required.
You will also need:- A positive and can-do attitude
- Professional verbal & written communication skills
- Have an aptitude to learn new skills, and embrace forward thinking ways to become more efficient
- Be mechanically competent and be able to refer to technical references
- A recognised automotive technical qualification
- Knowledge of technical diagnosis and repair of electrical systems
- Current NZ Full Drivers licence
- Ability to work as part of a team, unsupervised and be able to lead by example
- Excellent accuracy & attention to detail even under time constraints
- Be willing to always be learning and improving
