We're ADC, under new management of Figure8. This is an exciting new chapter for ADC, a proud Northland-based IT company. We provide managed services, procurement and project delivery to a growing client base. We keep things professional, friendly, and flexible - and we're big on people and relationships.
About the Role:
We're looking for a reliable and motivated IT Support person to join our service desk team. You'll be the go-to for day-to-day helpdesk support - resolving tickets, assisting users, maintaining systems, and helping with client setups.
You'll spend most of your time in the office, but there may be some site visits - so a full NZ driver's license is a must. There may be opportunities to assist with projects or get involved with after-hours support as your skills develop.
What You'll Be Doing:- Responding to helpdesk tickets and support requests
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows desktop, and common business apps
- Assisting with user onboarding, password resets, and system access
- Updating documentation and ticket notes clearly
- Providing great customer service and following up promptly
- Helping the wider team with client and internal IT tasks
- Following internal processes and contributing ideas for improvement
What We're Looking For:- 1-3 years' experience in an IT support/helpdesk environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure
- A team player with a willingness to learn and grow
- Full NZ driver's license and reliable transport
- Any relevant IT certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft)
