Euromarque BYD is seeking a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technician / Foreman to join our growing team in a modern, well-equipped workshop right here in Christchurch.
As BYD continues to lead the way in electric vehicle innovation, this is your chance to be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry, with full training provided on high-voltage EV systems and ongoing support for career development.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing BYD vehicles and other brands to the highest standards
- Working confidently with cutting-edge EV technology (training provided)
- Following manufacturer procedures and safety protocols
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment and digital service platforms
- Leading or supporting a high-performing service team, depending on your experience
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:- Qualified Automotive Technician (Level 4 or equivalent)
- Previous EV or hybrid experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- A willingness to embrace new technology and processes
- Great attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
