STIHL Shop Ashburton is looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team in a retail sales role. If you enjoy working with people, are passionate about providing great service, and are looking for a flexible role with well-respected products, this could be the perfect fit.
This is a part-time position, ideally across four days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, working from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The role involves sole charge during some weekend shifts, so reliability and confidence working independently are essential.
You'll be helping customers with a wide range of power equipment, offering advice and product recommendations to suit their needs. Full training will be provided, including access to the STIHL NZ Academy, to ensure you're fully equipped to succeed.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:- A friendly, confident communicator with a passion for customer service
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working alone when required
- Prior retail sales experience is a plus, but not essential
- An interest in outdoor power equipment or DIY is helpful
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays as needed
