Founded over 50 years ago, Ching Contracting Ltd is a local privately owned civil contracting company with an enviable reputation in the Nelson & Tasman Region.
Our work includes all aspects of infrastructure drainage, water reticulation, earthworks and roading for Councils, Private and Commercial clients. We have the in-house skills to manage projects to any specification and the resources to consistently and safely deliver quality results on time.
We're currently looking for a Civil Construction Drainlayers to join our team.
Our ideal candidates will have previous experience and qualifications in Civil Construction industry laying pipes; uPVC, PE and Concrete pipes, from small (100mm) to large diameter (1800mm and above), however this is not essential. If you have the right attitude and you're keen to build your career within Civil Construction Drainage, we're also interested in hearing from you. You'll need a minimum full class 1 drivers licence (class 2 and and WTR licence endorsements would be an advantage).
We're looking for people who:- Have good attention to detail
- Are self-motivated and able to work efficiently
- Have enthusiasm to learn and upskill
- Are able to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test
- Have a health & safety and environmental focus
- Have a diligent, reliable, and professional work ethic
