  • We're looking for a kind, capable and quietly persuasive Executive Assistant to support our CEO at Solomon Group, NZ Welding & Trades and Tree House - a unique, values-driven organisation committed to education, employment, and second chances.

    This role is all about keeping the wheels turning, people connected, and the small things sorted so the big things can happen. If you're someone who brings warmth, independence, and pride in your work - and you love the satisfaction of getting things across the line - this might be the perfect fit.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Supporting the CEO with light-touch diary and travel management
    • Managing expenses and invoices
    • Coordinating agendas, taking minutes, issuing actions and following up from SLT and Managers' meetings
    • Writing and producing internal newsletters to keep our multi-site team connected
    • Supporting HR processes: onboarding, contracts, advertising roles, screening applicants, booking interviews (HR support provided)
    • Helping maintain a functional, welcoming office space - working closely with our Maintenance Lead
    • Preparing PowerPoint presentations
    • Organising catering for team events and social functions
    • Coordinating our Staff of the Month process - from promotion to certificates and celebrations
    • Managing stationery orders for the Manurewa site
    • Overseeing company vehicle records and use
    What we're looking for:
    • An experienced Executive Assistant
    • A warm, patient and professional communicator
    • Someone who sees the bigger picture and takes initiative
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to getting things done
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations
    • Strong Office 365 skills
    • Experience in admin, HR coordination or internal comms is great - but attitude and aptitude matter most
    • A genuine passion for helping people and making a difference
    • A clean Police Check
