    Are you experienced in sourcing quality materials, tools, and machinery for fast-paced technical environments? Our engineering workshop is looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the purchasing of essential workshop supplies, spare parts, and equipment to keep operations running efficiently and on budget.

    About the Role:

    As a Procurement Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of items essential for fabrication, maintenance, and engineering operations. You'll work closely with workshop, engineers, and suppliers to meet operational demands without compromising quality or safety.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Source and purchase workshop tools, mechanical components, raw materials, and consumables.
    • Liaise with engineers and designers to understand technical requirements.
    • Evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier relationships.
    • Monitor stock levels, place timely orders, and coordinate deliveries.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
    • Ensure quality and safety standards are met with all procured items.
    Qualifications & Skills:
    • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or workshop setting.
    • Strong technical understanding of engineering tools, mechanical parts, and workshop equipment.
    • Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/procurement software
    • High attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
