About the Role
We require a full time Senior Financial Accountant to join our team based in either Thames or Wiri.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the integrity of the company's financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and contributing to strategic financial planning. The role supports the Finance Team through managing the month-end process, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits, and financial analysis.

About you:- Prior experience in AU and/or NZ Accounting
- Strong understanding of AU and/or NZ Taxation requirements and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency within the Microsoft Office Suite of programmes, particularly within MS Excel
- Highly organised with excellent time management ability; able to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills; able to convey ideas, expectations, and information
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- A high level of corporate and personal presentation, professional integrity & confidentiality
- A desire to develop a high level of understanding of geosynthetics and the design function they provide
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Accountable and Adaptable
- Great work ethic and can-do attitude
- Approachable and positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong, open, and collaborative relationships across all levels
Desirable:- CPA or CA Qualification
- Experience in Public Accounting practice
- Experience with NetSuite or ERP
