We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - 3PL & Warehouse Solutions to join our growing team!
This role is short-term for 3-6 months with a priority to win new business, however there may be future opportunities available. An immediate start is available.
You'll be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in winning new business and account management. You'll enjoy building lasting client relationships, driving sales, and leveraging your commercial expertise.
Ideally, you'll have a strong network within the warehouse and 3PL storage sector (FMCG), or you may be a talented new business professional with a complementary background.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Growth: Identify new opportunities and convert leads into revenue within the FMCG 3PL and warehouse storage sectors.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their business needs are met.
- Account Management: Manage client accounts with exceptional care, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Networking: Utilize industry connections to expand business opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
- Commercial Insight: Analyse market trends and competitor activity to maximize profitability.
You may have a background in Warehouse Operations prior to moving to a sales and account management role.
What We're Looking For:- Extensive experience in sales and account management, preferably within the 3PL or logistics sector.
- A strong network of industry contacts in warehouse and logistics solutions.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Strong multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
