    We are currently looking for a creative and experienced Design and Build Consultant to join our team.

    You'll play a key role in guiding clients through their new home journey - From initial concepts to handing over the keys. You'll use your strong design sensibility, interpersonal skills, and practical knowledge of construction to understand and deliver on each client's vision. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and our internal team to ensure smooth, timely, and budget-conscious builds.

    We are looking for someone who:
    • Has proven experience in the building industry - ideally in residential design and sales
    • Demonstrates strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills
    • Is familiar with design software and drafting tools (however this is not essential)
    • Is a team player who enjoys mentoring others and working cross-functionally
    • Has a solid understanding of NZ building regulations and council consent processes
    • Is organised, self-motivated, and client-focused
    • Is available to work one weekend day
    You responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
    • Lead concept design, planning, and pricing discussions
    • Prepare client concept drawings and specifications, and support the working drawing process
    • Identify land opportunities for clients and assist with show home management and design
    • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
    • Work collaboratively with contractors, developers, and internal teams
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building legislation, market trends, and industry best practices
    • Contribute to sales, marketing, and client presentation initiatives
    • Accurately document work, maintain client files, and ensure compliance with internal systems
