    Due to our expanding operations, we are actively seeking a seasoned Salesperson to join our Te Rapa team in a full-time capacity. This role will encompass a balanced 30/70 split between office-based and fieldwork responsibilities, reporting directly to the owner/operator. Applicants should have an established local network to utilise.

    Your primary objective will be to drive sales revenue by cultivating relationships with both new and established clientele.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Build and manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction through excellent customer service.
    • Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve sales targets.
    • Identify and convert sales leads into opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
    • Generate sales from both existing and new customers.
    • Manage a customer base, ensuring proactive engagement with approximately 100 key accounts.
    • Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
    To succeed in this role, you will:
    • Have the drive and motivation to build relationships quickly
    • Be able to generate and convert leads
    • Be a hunter with thick skin and strong perseverance
    • Be able to deliver excellent customer service and offer superb key account management skills.
    • Be a skilled communicator, organised, highly motivated
    • Be able to work autonomously while participating as part of the overall team.
    • Hold a full driver's licence.
    While a sales background in the trade/construction industry is preferred, we also welcome candidates with strong sales experience from diverse industries.
