About the role
The Banking Administrator is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of our Group's banking activities. To do this, you work closely with the Finance team, and all our operational departments to make sure everything lines up as it should! The core work is:
Banking reconciliation
Cashflow coding
Monitoring cashflow
Supporting with financial audits, and month-end and year-end financial processes
Leading some automotive industry specific financial processes - these are called curtailment and bailment
To be considered for this role, while you don't need to automotive industry experience, you need to have:
A high proficiency in Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling high-volume transactions
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
You also need to:
Have a great attitude; we're really looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and help out the team
Be detail orientated
Pick up new systems and processes quickly (and identify and implement improvements) - this is a key role that helps the whole business work! Enjoy working collaboratively with a variety of different people and different departments
And you need to be a NZ citizen, permanent resident or resident.
Candidates will stand out if they also have experience in a similar role and / or with bank reconciliation in Xero.
