    An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Manager at our Rangiora store, serving Rangiora and the wider North Canterbury community.

    As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store. You'll provide vital support to the Store Manager, oversee the shop when they're not present, and assist with leadership when they are. You'll also be a key point of contact for our loyal customer base, delivering exceptional service, and handling inquiries and orders from our digital channels, helping to integrate our online and in-store experiences.

    What We're Looking For:
    • Proven retail sales experience, preferably within the cycling industry.
    • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to guide, support, and motivate a team.
    • Practical workshop and technical skills, including experience of working on bikes.
    • Strong product knowledge and commitment to continuous learning and development.
    • Good inventory and stock management skills, including ordering, receipting, and identifying sales trends.
    • Confidence using digital systems and point-of-sale technology.
    • A strong customer service focus and the initiative to go the extra mile.
    • An understanding of merchandising, store presentation, and retail consumer behaviour.
    • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
    • A positive team player who can align with Pushbikes' culture and values.
