  • Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? We're looking for a Medical Receptionist Superstar to join our dedicated team at Silverdale Medical. This is a permanent part-time role based in our bustling Urgent Care and General Practice facility, offering a minimum of 32 hours per week.

    You'll be the first point of contact for patients, so a warm, professional manner and commitment to exceptional care are essential.

    You'll be working in a supportive, high-performing team committed to providing excellent service and care to our community.

    Available Shifts

    Choose from one of the following shift patterns:
    • Shift 1:
      - Monday: 12:00 PM - 8:15 PM
      - Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
      - Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
      - Sunday: 12:00 PM - 8:15 PM
    • Shift 2:
      - Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
      - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
      - Friday: 12:00 PM - 8:15 PM
      - Saturday: 12:00 PM - 8:15 PM
    • Shift 3:
      - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday: 12:00 PM - 8:15 PM
    Important Note on Finish Times

    Our Urgent Care Centre operates from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. However, staff shifts that are scheduled to finish at 8:15 PM may sometimes extend beyond this time due to:
    • Patients still waiting to be seen
    • Clinical staff still attending to patients
    • Awaiting ambulance transfers or handovers
    These situations are often unpredictable and outside of our control, so flexibility is essential to ensure continued patient support and smooth clinic operations.

    Key Attributes You Will Bring:
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Professional presentation and a caring, respectful approach
    • Confidence in dealing with diverse patients of all ages and backgrounds
    • High computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Experience handling high call volumes, emails, and general inquiries
    • Proficient in processing invoices and payments accurately
    • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
    • Reliability, punctuality, and great time management
    • Experience with Indici PMS is a bonus (but not essential)
    • A team player who thrives in a busy, high-performing environment
    • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
