COMBER AND COMBER is a leader in innovative and sustainable design solutions.
We are seeking to add a talented and experienced Interior Designer to our team on a contract or part time basis.
We're looking for a creative professional with a proven track record of delivering exceptional interior spaces that blend functionality, aesthetics, and client vision.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Comber and Comber clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
- Develop detailed design concepts, including kitchen and cabinetry plans, mood boards, and presentations for client approval.
- Create internal cabinetry elevations, floor plans, 3D renders, and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., Archicad, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Source materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with project budgets and timelines.
- Oversee project execution, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented in keeping with project budgets (including inputs and design time)
- Adapt designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Proven ability to recommend other services and products to clients to ensure they get a full interior service and the best possible design outcomes.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 6 years of professional interior design experience (e.g., residential, kitchen design, interior architecture).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects with a keen eye for detail and style.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Archicad, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering tools or similar).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and sustainable practices is a plus.
- Qualifications in Interior Design / Interior Architecture (Dip.Int.Des, NKBA etc)
