  • We're looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Customer Engagement Assistant to join our team working across our Kennerley Gourmet Grocery brands: Paddock to Pantry, The Meat Box, Celebration Box, and The Wild Rose.

    This is a dual-focus role with a clear and even split between marketing (50%) and customer service/admin support (50%).

    One day you might be shooting a TikTok or writing a blog, and the next, you could be helping a customer track their order or assisting the fulfilment team to get everything out the door. We're after someone who thrives on variety and values both brand-building and customer connection equally.

    This role requires a detail-oriented, hands-on individual who can assist with day-to-day marketing tasks like content creation and campaign support, while also providing excellent customer service and admin support to keep things running smoothly.

    Please note: This role is based across two warehouse locations - Takanini and East Tamaki - so you'll need your own transport to get to and from both locations. Bus is fine, as long as you can access both sites reliably.

    What the role involves:
    • Creating and scheduling photo, video, and written content for social, email, ads and web
    • Helping with email marketing campaigns and flows in Klaviyo
    • Updating websites and product listings (Shopify), and assisting with SEO blogs
    • Assisting with influencer outreach, promotions, and giveaways
    • Responding to customer queries via email, phone, and social DMs
    • Managing review responses, chatbot updates, and FAQs
    • Supporting the fulfilment and service teams to ensure smooth order delivery
    • Pitching in during peak periods like Christmas, Mother's Day or Valentine's Day - including weekends when needed
    What we're looking for:
    • A creative, proactive person who enjoys switching between tasks
    • Strong communicator - great writing skills and a friendly phone manner
    • Calm under pressure and confident solving problems on the fly
    • Familiar with (or keen to learn) tools like Canva, Klaviyo, Shopify and Instagram
    • A qualification in marketing, comms or digital media is preferred - but equivalent experience counts too
    • Weekend availability during peak trading periods (we're a 7-day operation over key events)
