We are seeking a fit, strong, and skilled Garden Labourer to join our team, assisting in the cultivation and maintenance of high-quality gardens.
About the Role:
As a Garden Labourer, you will be responsible for:- Using a wide range of garden equipment proficiently
- Lawn and turf care, including mowing, edging, and maintenance
- Loading and moving garden supplies and equipment
- Preparing garden sites using hand tools and machinery
- Caring for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Propagation, planting, and potting of seeds and cuttings (advantageous)
- Liaising with sub-contractors as required
- Light construction duties (carpentry qualifications not required)
- Cleaning and maintaining all tools and equipment
- Some general cleaning duties
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have:- A strong work history with excellent references
- A positive, can-do attitude - no task is too big or small!
- A full, clean driver's license (must be maintained)
- Experience driving small trucks (HT license is an advantage)
- Experience with heavy machinery or mechanical maintenance (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of health & safety practices
- Drug and alcohol-free at all times - strictly enforced
- Smoke and vape-free workplace - adherence required
- Excellent written and spoken English
Additional Information:- This is a full-time role based in Auckland.
